The official website for RelayChat.net and RelayChat.org IRC Network There is a lot of networks out there, that are small and with 3 or 4 linked servers. Under 100 users or less. It would be great, to get all the small nets together as one big family and start a major network. I beleive SO! So, please read on. Our Goal is to bring together a network of people, from around the world to join in one Big Community! Are main focus is, to Link up other networks to be a strong IRC Network. I know its very hard these days to start or continue a IRC network. But what i mostly found out about running a IRCd all this time. People run off. There are clones, bots in channels and nobody chatting. If we could take 20 networks of 50 users per network, and net them together. We would have a START. True or false ? We need to start somewhere. Now I'm requesting other networks to join not irc.relaychat.net but YOUR NEW NETWORK. The Rules are pretty simple to run a IRCd network, and must be followed out. No one is to abuse the network. I will write more about this in a Rule Section, later on as i do this website.
Linking is easy. All you need to do is place a request to the network admin, start configuring your IRCd. run the lastest Unrealircd. no nets to small. must be on a dedicated server and great up time. you may keep your network name. we don't require you to change that.
